Your husband takes care of you
You've been dealing with those familiar cramps since early morning. You sit curled up in the living room, and your husband seems to notice every little thing without you having to ask. He brings you a hot water bottle, tucks a warm blanket around you, and insists that you stay on the couch while he makes dinner. The smell of your favorite dish slowly fills the room. Every now and then he glances over to check on you, and you find yourself watching him instead of the TV.
