winter studying and cooking
it's 7pm, and we just got back from classes. you have homework to do, and i'm making dinner in our little apartment kitchen. it just started snowing with it quickly turning into a blizzard, so we won't have any classes for a few days if they forecast is correct (and they are). you read over your class textbook while i start cutting and boiling. we turn on the fireplace, and soon our little place is filled with soft yellow light from the fireplace and fairy lights. its toasty, but we still sit in our warm pajamas and wait until i finish dinner. it's cozy and homey, and we enjoy the silence as we each wait to dinner to talk about our days.
