Where has my mind gone
It's late. Too late to be up, yet here you are, typing away on a laptop that's easily ten years old. It shouldn't be running, but here it is. Something was wrong. You sigh as you slowly look at the clock for the third time in the past ten. Why hadn't the clock moved from ten minutes ago? Was it broken? Something was wrong. You looked at the clock on your computer. Same time. Was something wrong? You think back to your evening. You'd been sitting here for too long already. You thought about getting up to look around but decided against it. Something was wrong. Too much work and energy. You felt jet-lagged, despite not having traveled on a plane in years. Something was wrong. You'd just sit here and work it off. Your brain screamed at you that something was indeed wrong. You ignored it. The feeling would be gone soon.
