The Seer's Kitchen
You've sat down at the Seer's kitchen table. Everything is yellow. The walls, the cupboards, the appliances, even the table itself, all look like they've been washed in a pale buttery hue. In the morning, it is cool and bright. In the evening, when the sunset is shining through the windows that make up the west wall, facing the backyard, the kitchen seems to glow golden, like it's dripping with honey.
The Seer is at the stove, putting on the kettle and assembling two cups of tea. It smells of plants and earth and spices.
Maybe everything you've heard about the Seer is wrong. Because to you, she doesn't seem scary, unearthly, not even that mystical. She's just a soft, kind girl making you tea with a shy smile. Maybe you don't have to be afraid after all.
