Fireplace in the Winter
My favorite days in the winter were sitting in my basement by the fireplace, me reading and my family asleep (or sometimes the other way around). Wrapped in a blanket, hot chocolate in hand, a fire roaring - there's something oddly calming about that combination, the silence of a snowfall outside, and not a care to be had in the world.
